Si tratta del terzo e ultimo volume del meglio di “The Believer”, la rivista indipendente americana fondata da Dave Eggers e altri nel 2003. Un concentrato di quanto di meglio si sia scritto, pensato, diretto, dipinto o immaginato negli ultimi anni.
E poi, chi può dirlo, ora che è iniziata L’Era di Obama forse non ci sarà più bisogno di queste testate indipendenti e critiche, forse tutti saranno indipendenti e critici, e riviste come il Believer saranno comunissime e vendute al supermercato e dappertutto.
